Noun : A word that can be preceded by
a, an, the, some, such, or my. often will end in suffixes :-ness, -ity, -ism, -y, -ion etc.example : An egoist (noun), Such asceticism (noun), The misogynist (noun) -
Verb : A verb is a word that fits into the pattern, "Let is ___ ." It has a past tense and will often end in suffixes :
-ate, -ize, -fy etcexample : Let us equivocate (verb) (past tense : equivocated.) , Let us alternate (verb) (past tense: alternated) -
Adjective : An adjective is a word that fits into the pattern, "You are very ___ ." Often end in conventional suffixes :
-ic , -ed, -ous, -al, -ive etcexample : You are very egoistic ( adjective), You are very misogynous (adjective) -
Adverb : Generally formed by adding
-lyto an adjective example : misogynous - misogynously etc.
